La Plaza Mall, a single-level, super-sized regional mall, is located at the intersection of Highway 83 and 10th Street in McAllen, Texas. La Plaza Mall is the principal shopping center for McAllen, Texas, and the entire Rio Grande Valley. Shopping hours at La Plaza Mall are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, from noon to 6:00 p.m., with extended holiday hours.
La Plaza Mall has five large department stores, Bealls, Dillard’s, Foley’s, JC Penney, Joe Brand, and Sears, as well as over 40 stores with clothing for the entire family. There are 12 stores for accessories; five shops for cards, gifts, and stationery; nine stores with health and beauty products, including Merle Norman Cosmetics and Victoria’s Secret; and 18 of your favorite jewelers, such as Gordon’s, Portillo’s, and Helzberg’s, with fine jewelry in diamonds, platinum, and gold. La Plaza Mall has 18 specialty shops, such as PacSun, Wilson’s Leather, and Sharper Image, as well as the unique sunglasses boutique, Occhiali da Sole, featuring Gucci, Dior, and Versace. In addition, there are 21 shoe stores, eight sportswear shops, and 16 stores with music, electronics, toys, and games.
There are 21 restaurants at La Plaza Mall, including The Steak Escape, Cinnabon, Camille’s Sidewalk Café, and the Frullati Café. Logan’s Roadhouse has full service dining, with great steaks and drinks, in a casual, friendly atmosphere.
