Highland Mall is a two level mall located in Austin, Texas just off of Interstate 35 in north Austin. Highland Mall is easily accessed from Interstate 35 via Airport Blvd. The hours of operation for Highland Mall are from Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 9 pm and from noon to 6 pm on Sundays. Holiday hours will vary, with extended hours during the holiday shopping season.
Larger, and with more shops than Arboretum Mall to the northwest, the Highland Mall has a good selection of shops and restaurants. Anchored by Dillard’s, Foley’s and JCPenny, Highland mall also has 35 shops for women’s fashions, including New York and Company, Banana Republic and American Eagle Outfitters. For the men there are 15 stores to choose from, including The Edge, Via Milano and Aeropostale. There are 9 stores for clothing and toys for the kids. To round out the clothing selection, Highland Mall also has 17 shops for shoes and footwear. In addition to these, Highland Mall has 7 shops for books, cards and gifts, 15 shops for electronics and entertainment, 19 stores for health and beauty and 12 jewelry stores.
Highland Mall has a great selection of restaurants and specialty food stores. There are 7 shops for specialty foods throughout the mall, including Great American Cookie Company, Cinnabon and Godiva Chocolatier. There are 14 restaurants in their food court for over the counter fare, including Gaylord’s Hamburger Palace, Suki Hana and Yeung’s Lotus Express. There are no full service restaurants in Highland Mall, only food court, fast food restaurants.
