The AMC Studio 30 movie theater is a Texas treasure. AMC Studio 30 is AMC’s first themed movie theater. The concept is based on a studio back lot where patrons are made to feel like they are on a sound stage. This 110,000-square foot complex is arranged into three themed lots: Cyberspace, Action/Adventure, and Animation. AMC Studio 30 features 30 screens including one IMAX screen. Seating for each theater ranges from 100-550.
The cyberspace wing of the AMC Studio 30 holds the three largest screens and the IMAX screen. The interior of the cyberspace wing is brushed-aluminum walls with the ceiling and floor in the same color. The Action/Adventure wing has 13 screens and resembles a rain forest with wet leaves, bamboo, and rocks used as directional signs. Custom carpets in the Action/Adventure wing are made to look like a river with grass along its bank. This wing also has one dark screen that is used for testing purposes by AMC Studio 30. The last wing, Animation, has a whimsical motif with a décor to resemble cell animation and houses 14 screens. Each wing is equipped with its own concession stand, giving moviegoers an added level of convenience.
The movie theater lobby has movie clappers pointing the way to the 30 movie screens. The AMC Studio 30 lobby has its own concession stand, coffee shop and an arcade. Other amenities of AMC Studio 30 include stadium seating, state-of-the-art digital sound, and AMC’s exclusive Loveseat-Style seating.
